Based on the article published on the "Entrepreneur.com" page, we selected 5 colonies in Mexico City that are a great option for moving according to their price and connectivity, excluding Condesa, Polanco and Roma, since these are the three main colonies that every city dweller, foreigner or person thinks of when they know they are moving to the capital.
Narvarte
Classified as one of the most peaceful and family-friendly colonies to live in, "La Narvarte" is a small paradise surrounded by green areas, exercise areas, friendly local shops and, above all, a 100% Pet Friendly atmosphere. In this colony the prices of rent are between 12 to 80 thousand pesos approx. and fortunately it is crossed by some very important communication routes for the city like Av División del Norte, Av Universidad and Dr. José María Vertiz.
Port them
A colony surrounded by the three favorites (Polanco, Roma and Condesa) but at much more discreet prices. This colony has a wide offer, from new or restored buildings, to "old" buildings that are preserved in the art deco style. The colony is home to small family businesses, some flea markets, theatres, parks, etc.
From the Valley
Without a doubt, one of the preferred options for lovers of cultural sites. This colony is surrounded by shopping centers and local establishments, which raises the interest of many investors, while giving a greater added value thanks to the great offer in gastronomy, entertainment and culture that they give to those who live there. Rental prices range from 15 to 50 thousand pesos approx., thus opening a host of opportunities, in addition to bordering colonies such as Narvarte, Naples, South Rome and Coyoacan.
Santa Maria La Ribera
It may sound strange, but this colony is one of the favorites for housing among chilangos. Its location between two main arteries of the CDMX (Circuito Interior and Insurgentes) makes it perfect for those who move around the city during the day. In this colony prices can be as low as 3 thousand pesos a month or as high as 250 thousand, so it is a great option for those looking for variety.
Saint Raphael
Last but not least. The San Rafael colony is one of the colonies with greater growth (capital gain) in the last years thanks to the fact that it is delimited by two of the most important avenues in the whole city, Insurgentes Avenue and Circuito Interior. In addition, it is the favorite of many thanks to the fact that it is very close to the most important labor centers of the city, such as Reforma, Anzures, Polanco and Condesa. Similarly, this colony offers rentals from 12 thousand approx. and offers a wide range of cultural, artistic and gastronomic to consider.
As you can see, CDMX is much more than Condesa, Polanco and Roma when it comes to finding a good colony to live in. However, we know that moving is more than just finding a good place to live, but fortunately we are here to help you through the process and facilitate some of the steps that can get complicated along the way, such as moving logistics or lifting your belongings to find the perfect place that suits your needs.
We hope this note has been very useful for you and do not hesitate to contact us if you are looking for a partner to accompany you in your moving process.
